What happens before your L-39 flight to Dijon?
At the time of booking, choose your flight duration:

Some of the notable sights include the Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy, a well-preserved building that was the residence of the Dukes of Burgundy until the 15th century. Before the flight:
We will need to receive your medical certificate of no contraindication to the practice of an aerial sport (same as for a parachute jump), which can be issued by a general practitioner.
The day before the flight, be well rested and avoid alcohol.
What happens during a fighter jet flight in Dijon?
When you arrive at the airfield, you will be welcomed by the flight team and your pilot.
Then you will follow a procedure to prepare for the flight:
- Test of the flight equipment (suit, helmet).
- Briefing: General characteristics of the L39 – Technical presentation – Cockpit familiarization – Piloting technique – Flight chronology – Safety briefing – Ejection seat.
- Pre-flight visit: take a technical tour of the aircraft with the instructor.
- Briefing and safety instructions in the cockpit.
- Once installed in the aircraft, the pilot will start the engine and begin taxiing to the runway.

Takeoff…
L-39 flights are generally divided into 3 phases:
- a discovery phase, with gentle evolutions to feel the sensations of the fighter plane. This can be done with some rolls or other figures, low altitude flight to feel the speed…
- a discovery flight phase, to enjoy the beauty of the landscape.
- an aerobatic phase: the pilot will look for an aerobatic axis to perform an acrobatic program with all the possible figures: loops, rolls, cuban eight… Strong sensations guaranteed!
- During the whole flight, the pilot and his passenger are in constant communication so that the passenger can share his flight experience and eventually ask for less or more evolutions, depending on his tolerance to G
The pilot always flies according to the passenger’s G-tolerance – the force of acceleration – so that the flight is as pleasant as possible, and the passenger does not get sick.
Your flight is filmed: This flight in a fighter plane in L39 over the Channel is filmed – wide angle video made with a GoPro that films the passenger’s face and gives a good view of the outside.

Option – Aerial combat
Slip into the shoes of a fighter pilot during a flight in a 2 aircraft patrol, with a program of pursuits and aerial combat engagements.
Take off in a tight patrol of 2 aircraft to the evolution zone.
Your flight includes an aerial combat phase (aerial pursuit, relative turns, aerial combat engagement…) and an aerobatic phase (acceleration to 600 km/h followed by aerobatic figures, formation changes, barrels and loops).
Live an extraordinary experience aboard the L39 fighter aircraft. The flight lasts 25 minutes from departure to return.
After the flight in L-39
Landing…
You will have a debriefing time with the pilot, and you can also take pictures with the pilot around the plane.
You will be tired… So take the time to recover. Flying in a fighter plane is a tiring experience, especially because of the G-taking, which requires a lot of energy. So after the flight, take your time before heading back to the road, especially if you’re driving.
Two to three people can accompany you on the base, but you are of course the only one flying.

You will be asked to sign a waiver of responsibility and understanding of the risks of flying a fighter jet.
Medical certificate of no contraindication to the practice of an air sport is required.
Be over 16 years old.
Must not be more than 1.90m tall, weigh less than 50kg, and not more than 105kg.
Subject to favorable weather conditions. If not, postponement to a later date.

This flight is available on regular dates from March to November, from Monday to Friday, depending on the availability of the plane and the pilot. Do not hesitate to contact us to know the feasibility of the dates.

How to book your jet fighter experience
To book your fighter jet experience, simply email us with your required flight experience.
We will send you a booking form, check your date for availibility.
If it is available, you will be booked in!
Payment will be done by sending you a payment link via our bank – CIC Bank – payment is secured, done on the server of our bank (we do not have access to your banking information).
After the admin is done, we will send you all the relevant information to prepare for the flight experience and get to the airfield.
